Madeline Keller-King

Fiber Artist living wild in the Montana Woods

IMG_4064_edited.jpg

Madeline has had a deep love of the wild lands of Montana since she was a child, and a fascination with fiber arts that began with knitting 16 years ago.  In that time her depth of study in this field of art has grown to include: hand-spinning on spindle and wheel, natural dyeing, weaving & embroidery.  None of this has done anything to discourage her curiosity!

She works now from her home in the woods of Northwestern Montana where she is blessed to be in community with many small scale ranchers & have an abundance of dyestuff growing in her own backyard.  Every time she steps outside is a hunt for color!

In addition to her hand-spun, naturally dyed yarns now being available for sale in her local gallery, she is also available to teach intro knitting, hand-spinning and natural dye classes, & looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm with you!
